SHEPHARD (WBAP/KLIF News ) – Residents in San Jacinto County are being asked to shelter-in-place after an explosion and fire at the sound resource solutions plant in Shepherd.
The San Jacinto County Office of Emergency Management has reduced the shelter-in-order from a five to one-mile radius.
According to Fox 26 News, one person has reportedly been injured, suffering first, second and third-degree burns to the face and arms respectively.
First responders from numerous departments are on site trying to extinguish the ongoing fire.
The fire is not believed to be a threat to Houston or any surrounding suburbs.
