Dallas Police Arrest Suspect in Shooting that Left 1 Dead, 3 Others Injured

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News ) – There’s been an arrest in a deadly shooting in southeast Dallas that left residents on edge Monday afternoon.

Dallas Police announced on Tuesday that the suspect, 27-year-old Jeremiah Moore, was found and arrested in Donley County about 62 miles southeast of Amarillo.

He faces one murder count and three counts of aggravated assault.

Investigators said officers responded to a shooting call at an apartment complex near the intersection of Elsie Faye Heggins Street and Lyons.

Two women and a man were found shot inside an apartment. Another man was shot outside a car wash a few blocks away from the initial incident.

A family member of the victims said someone rang the doorbell and when his niece answered, the gunman fired directly at her.

Police confirmed 19-year-old Savannah Rodriguez died from her injuries. The other victims were hospitalized and are in stable condition.

Investigators have not revealed a motive behind the shootings.
