Waxahachie (WBAP/KLIF) – A fatal off-road vehicle accident in Waxahachie over the weekend took the life of a 12-year old boy and injured three teens
The 16-year old female driver and two 14-year old male passengers were seriously injured when the off-road vehicle failed to stop at a stop sign on Boz road and hit pickup truck in an intersection, according to the Texas DPS. The fatal victim was also a passenger and died on the scene.
DPS Sgt. William Lockridge told WFAA-TV that the vehicle was not supposed to be on the road and that such usage on main roads is becoming far too common.
An elderly couple in the pickup truck was not seriously injured.
