Huntsville (WBAP/KLIF) – Fire broke out early Friday morning at the Texas State Prison in Huntsville. The blaze reportedly began in the attic of the walled, maximum secuirty unit. About 600 inmates had to be evacuated while firefighters poured water on the flames. It took several hours to bring ithe fire under control. and teams of them remained on the scene to deal qwith hot spots. There are no reports of injurie. , The cause of the fire is under investigation.
