A former Grand Prairie ISD counselor says that she was forced to resign after reporting a a teacher for allegedly using a racial slur
Gabriana Clay-White, resigned from the district last june. According to the lawsuit, she had been asked to assist a teacher with a special needs child in the month prior. The unnamed teacher allegedly called the student a “dumb” n-word, pulled a chair from beneath the student and stepped on him.
The lawsuit does not name of the school where Clay-Shite says the incident happened.
According to WFAA-TV the district was not aware of the lawsuit. GPISD had no further comment on personnel matters.
