FT. WORTH (WBAP/KLIF) – The National Weather Service in Ft. Worth has extended the Excessive Heat Warning through 8 pm Thursday evening.
People in the impacted areas are instructed to drink plenty of water, stay in air-conditioned rooms, stay out of the sun when possible and check on relatives and neighbors.
The target area includes Dallas, Tarrant, Denton, Ellis, Erath, Hill, Hood, Jack, Johnson, Mills, Navarro, Palo Pinto, Parker, Somervell, Stephens, Wise Young, Bosque, Comanche and Eastland Counties.
