Severe Storms Hit North Texas

DFW (WBAP/KLIF) – North Texas experienced another round of storms Wednesday afternoon. The National Weather Service Issued Severe hunderstorm Warnings for Denton, Dallas and Ellis Counties.

The storms produces heavy rains that lasted about 30 minutes and caused isolated flooding and frequent lightning along area freeways.

WBAP/KLIF Meteorologist Brad Barton says A potentially severe thunderstorm complex may pass through DFW Wednesday night into Thursday morning and again Thursday night into Friday morning.

After that, a strong surface high will return over North Texas for triple-digit heat and oppressive humidity this weekend.
