Victims Honored in Allen as Residents Promote Love

ALLEN (WBAP/KLIF) – The victims in Saturday’s mass shooting at Allen Premium Outlets are being remembered in various ways across the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.

Expressions of love were visible in Allen on Tuesday as a memorial for the victims grows outside the outlet mall, which is still closed. A hand painted sign read “Pray for Allen.”

Another display read “Show Allen Love.”

Roberto Marcus painted a mural featuring the victims and the Police Officer who killed the shooter.

“He is the hero in this tragedy and we want to acknowledge that,” Marcus said.

Vigils and fundraisers are being held in various North Texas cities to honor the 8 people killed in the shooting. 3 children are among the dead.
