Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – A popular, DFW-area Tex-Mex restaurant has closed. Matt’s Rancho Martinez on Skillman Street, a little west of White Rock Lake, served its last meals Sunday afternoon. Owner Nicholas Martinez says his family is tired of leasing, and from now on intends to own its restaurant sites. The Martinez’s do already have two restaurants on property they own: one in Allen, the other in Royse City. Nicholas Martinez says they’d like to come back to the Lakewood neighborhood, if they can find the right property.
