Texas (WBAP/KLIF) – A Republican Texas congressman has added is voice to the chorus of those calling on McCraw to resign

US Representative Tony Gonzales who represents Uvalde has become the first major Republican to publicly say the DPS chief must go, in a Twitter post that reads, “DPS Director McCraw should RESIGN immediately,” The tweet came after McCraw said during a contentious meeting Thursday that DPS had not failed the city of Uvalde.

The meeting was held to discuss the Texas Department of Public Safety’s ongoing investigation into the May 24th Robb Elementary School massacre that claimed the lives of 19 students and 2 teacher.
