(WBAP/KLIF) — Trading child pornography has landed a former Denton police officer behind bars for over a decade.
39-year-old David Schoolcraft worked for the Denton Police Department in 2021 before he was arrested for trading explicit photos and videos of children on social media. Schoolcraft was sentenced, Thursday, to more than 10 years in federal prison after pleading guilty in December to child pornography charges.
According to the Dallas Morning News, the former cop distributed child pornography at the Denton Police Department and from his home in Argyle.
