DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – In a report by Forbes, the FBI thwarted a plot by an ISIS operative living in the united states to assassinate former President George W. Bush in Dallas.
The report indicates a search warrant was unsealed this week in Ohio explaining that the operative planned to smuggle in assassins across the US border with Mexico and the operative had traveled to Dallas to check out the former president’s home and the Bush Institute at SMU.
“Even Biden’s administration estimated that 23 members of the FBI’s Terror Watch List came across the border,” said Bush’s nephew and Texas Land Commissioner George P. Bush who spoke to Fox News while campaigning for Texas Attorney General Tuesday.
“Imagine the amount of undetected terrorists that came through our borders,” George P. Bush said. “This confirms the national security issues and underscores the importance of securing our border.”
The operative is described as an Iraqi citizen who came to the US in 2020 and wanted to assassinate former President Bush over the 2003 invasion of Iraq.
