Tonkawa, Okla. (WBAP/KLIF) – A 20 year old meteorology student from Denton has been killed in Oklahoma while returning to his school from tornado chasing in Kansas. Nicholas Nair was one of three University of Oklahoma students who were killed when their vehicle hydroplaned on I-35, and was struck by a tractor-trailer rig. They had been chasing the tornado that struck Andover, Kansas early in the weekend, damaging at least a thousand buildings and other structures in the area. Theirs were the only deaths that could be attributed to the tornado.
