NTX: Lingering showers and thunderstorms tapering off by late this morning into early afternoon

A few strong thunderstorms cannot be ruled out across North Texas with gusty winds and small hail as the main threats. Locally heavy rainfall is also possible, but antecedent conditions may limit localized flooding impacts.

Monday: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm before 7am, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms between 7am and 10am. High near 69. North northeast wind between 13 and 17 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%.

Monday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 52. North northeast wind between 9 and 16 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph.

Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 74. Northeast wind between 8 and 13 mph, with gusts as high as 18 mph.

Tuesday Night: Clear, with a low around 52. East wind between 3 and 10 mph.

Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 77.

Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 61.

Thursday: Partly sunny, with a high near 84.
