Fort Worth (WBAP/KLIF) – After discovering 14-year Brooklyn Waters missing from the family home last Thursday, her mother, Monica Waters, checked their home security footage which shows that her daughter left the house and got into a waiting black Dodge Ccharger around 8:10pm
Fort Worth Police spokesman Brad Perez says that Brooklyn’s case is classified as a “runaway” since she left the home voluntarily.
Police are tracking the teen’s social media activity for any signs of danger, suspicion of trafficking, or habitual runaway activity.
Brooklyn’s mother says that her daughter has never run away before.

Fort Worth (WBAP/KLIF) – A Fort Worth mother has made an urgent plea for help in locating her 14-year old daughter.
Brooklyn Waters, was last known to be in her family home in the 8900 block of Guard Hill Drive on Thursday evening. Just after 8pm, Brooklyn’s brother noticed that she was not in the home and alerted their mother.
Monica Waters and son Christian Hunt searched the home; she then reviewed the home surveillance video and says that the time-stamp on the video shows here daughter leaving at 8:10PM and getting into black Dodge Challenger, wearing a black T-shirt, blue jeans and red Crocs. Brooklyn is Black, 317 pounds and also goes by the name Jordan Renae.
Ms. Waters says that she made a second call to police around 11:30pm and was told that her initial call had been given “too low a priority.” An officer subsequently arrived around 1:30am.
As of 9am she said the case had not been assigned to the missing person’s investigator. .
A Fort Worth Police spokesman told our newsroom that he’s looking into the matter.
