(WBAP/KLIF) — The former Allen City Mayor Pro Tem has pleaded guilty to felony child pornography charges.
57 year old Gary Caplinger will serve up to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty, Thursday, to two felony counts of child pornography with the intent to distribute. Caplinger was booked into the Collin County Jail in February 2021 and had been mayor pro tem since 2012.
According to the Dallas Morning News, Caplinger was arrested in February of 2021 on pornography charges stemming from incidents in 2019 and 2020.
