Pharr, TX (WBAP/KLIF) – The Democratic candidate for Texas Governor has joined calls for Governor Abbott to end stepped up inspections at the US-Mexico border calling it a “political stunt” that is hurting the Texas economy. .
O’rourke, speaking from a cold storage facility in Pharr, Texas said some truckers are now only getting through once every 3 days. empty trucks arriving to load US goods are also stalled.

Meantime Joe arevelo runs the facility where he says some 2500 trucks typically full of produce or empty to pick up loads are at a standstill. He says they’re “living through a nightmare.”
