Granbury, TX (WBAP/KLIF) – A Granbury family says they’ll never stop fighting to bring their son home from a Russian prison. This morning, a Russian court remanded Trevor Reed’s appeal to be released to a lower court for review and no decision was made.
The former Marine’s father Joey Reed told our media partner WFAA they’re discouraged but not defeated.
“We’re going to keep up the fight no matter what, no matter who it’s with; whatever government, whatever administrations, whatever foreign power, we’re going to keep up the fight until he’s home safe.”
Reed has been imprisoned since 2019 for allegedly assaulting an officer. Rhe family is working with the Biden administration to secure Trevor’s release.
The 32-year old Reed, was convicted of endangering Russian police and jailed in July 2020.
