(WBAP/KLIF) — Severe storms brought strong winds, hail, and destruction to the Metroplex, Tuesday.

WBAP/KLIF storm spotter Dave Bradbury reported 80 to 90 mile per hour winds in Ennis that tore the roof off a building. Roughly 45,000 Oncor customers experienced outages due to downed power lines, while some areas reported hail the size of a cantaloupe.

Bradbury’s 3/4 ton pickup was lifted off the road, causing it to roll several times. Fortunately, he suffered only minor injuries.
