4 North Texans, Including 2 Children, Found Shot to Death

(WBAP/KLIF) — Police making a welfare check in a small North Texas town found the dead bodies of two adults and two children.

The announcement of the grizzly discovery was made, Friday, by Granbury Police. In a statement, the police department suspects the incident to be a murder-suicide, as all four were fatally shot.

Police identified the victims as 36-year-old Marcus Buchanan, 34-year-old Rita Buchanan, and two girls, ages 13 and 3 months. Investigators haven’t said how the four were related or who the suspected gunman is.

Granbury is a city of around 11,000 residents located about 35 miles southwest of Fort Worth.
