(WBAP/KLIF) – North Texans bundled themselves in warm clothing on Thursday to survey the coverage of a much anticipated winter storm.
Much of DFW was blanketed with ice overnight, followed by a coating of snow later in the day.
Many North Texas roads are impassable and are expected to remain treacherous until temperatures warm up later this week.
Most North Texas municipalities and school districts will close Friday as well, due to the winter weather.
