Widow of Euless Police Officer Speaks Out

(WBAP/KLIF) — Ahead of the funeral of a Euless police officer, his widow breaks her silence about the night of his death. Priscilla Cervantes was severely injured in the Thanksgiving weekend crash that killed her husband, officer Alex Cervantes.

Priscilla was in a comma for a month after the car accident that took the life of her husband by a suspected drunk driver. She says she doesn’t remember the crash and when she came out of the comma, she was devastated at the news. The couple and their two sons were on their way to home depot to buy Christmas lights when suspected drunk driver Dylan Molina ran a red light and slammed into their vehicle.

The funeral service for Cervantes is set for 12:30pm on Saturday at Elizabeth Catholic Church in Keller. Priscilla says their two sons have written letters to their dad and will place them in the casket. WFAA says Cervantes will be buried in El Paso on January 10th with a graveside service.
