(WBAP/KLIF) – Texas Secretary of State officials released their preliminary findings of an investigation into the state’s 2020 election results on Friday, Dec. 31. The audit revealed that out of almost four million votes cast in Dallas, Collin, Tarrant, and Harris counties, just 17 were deceased votes, and 60 were considered duplicate votes. A total of 509 potential cross-state duplicate votes were found in the 2020 general election, while 224,585 deceased voters had been removed from the Texas voter roll since the election. The 17 deceased votes discovered from the investigation were removed, and the 60 duplicate votes were being investigated as well.
