Frisco Lone Star Reopens Following Online Threats

FRISCO (WBAP/KLIF) – Frisco Lone Star High School reopened on Wednesday after being closed for two days because of online threats.

“I’m just trying to get educated,” said a student walking to school on Wednesday. “The school does a good job making sure that we are safe. It’s back to normal.”

The Frisco Police Department completed an extensive K9 and officer sweep of the Lone Star campus on Tuesday. According to the department, investigators didn’t find anything that posed a threat or was suspicious.

Out of an abundance of caution, the Frisco ISD implemented sever precautions for the remainder of this week. There is an increased Police presence on campus. Backpacks and large bags are not allowed. Student hall passes are limited to essential business only. Additional school staff will also monitor hallways and building entrances.
