Texas Congressman Chip Roy Blasts a Texas Democrat Over Border Comments [WATCH]

Texas (WBAP/KLIF) – A GOP congressman from Texas is blasted a fellow Texas representative over recent border comments

During a House hearing on the matter Democratic Rep. Sheila Jackson-Lee said that the border is “secure” despite a political narrative to the contrary.

The comment drew outrage from Rep Chip Roy who said, among other things, that Texas is the only thing standing in between “complete lawlessness” and a wide open border.

Roy also blasted the Biden administration.

The Biden has repeatedly said that the Texas border is closed.

Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas told reporters during a White House press conference in May, that the administration is expelling single families and adults under Title 42 authority by the CDC; and that unaccompanied children will not be expelled.
