Ellis County Refuses to Enforce the Presidents Proposed Vaccine Mandate

(WBAP/KLIF) — Ellis County kicks back against President Biden’s vaccine mandate proposal.  The Biden Administration proposes to fine businesses with 100 or more employees $14,000 for each worker who is not fully vaccinated or consents to weekly COVID-19 testing. In response, the Ellis County Commissioners Court unanimously adopted a resolution opposing such a mandate as unconstitutional.

The resolution opposes any vaccine mandates proposed by any government or government department. commissioners further state that Ellis county refuses to use county resources to enforce such COVID-19 vaccination mandates. In addition, County Judge Todd Little says, “The federal government has no constitutional authority to deprive Americans of the right to earn a living just because they do not want a vaccine or medical treatment.”

The U.S. Department of Labor often relies on state governments to enforce their regulations.
