Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – There was no St. Patrick’s Day parade or other official celebration of the holiday this year, but crowds of revelers gathered over the weekend along Dallas’ Greenville Avenue anyway. A few were masked. Most were not. Social distancing was ignored. Texas’ statewide mask mandate was lifted last Wednesday, and businesses were free to open at 100% capacity. Some of the bars along Greenville Avenue said Saturday and Sunday were the best business days they’ve had in a year.
