North Texas Food Bank Partners with Two Texas Organizations to Match $200,000 in Donations Thursday

PLANO  (WBAP/KLIF News) – As the number of North Texans who are in need amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic continues to spike, local non profits and businesses are doing everything they can to help provide a lifeline for struggling families.

Today, Thursday December 17, the North Texas Food Bank has joined forces with Sammons Enterprises and the Beaumont Foundation of America to match $200,000 in donations.

The NTFB said a $1 donation can pay for six meals.

According to the NTFB website, there are 960,000 North Texans facing hunger right now.
