Fort Worth Extends Mask Mandate Into March of 2021

(WBAP/KLIF) —  The city of Fort Worth, Tuesday, mirrored a Tarrant county decision regarding COVID-19 restrictions.

The Fort Worth City Council, Tuesday, approved extending the city’s mask mandate through March 2nd of 2021. The decision is similar to the Tarrant County Commissioners Court vote last week to mandate masks through the end of February.

Fort Worth Mayor Betsy Price believes the rodeo and other activities can continue as long as everyone does their part.  Tarrant County reported 1,401 Coronavirus cases and six deaths, Tuesday, while a record-high 896 COVID-19 patients were hospitalized, Monday.
