Frisco (WBAP/KLIF) – The Dallas Stars hockey team has unveiled the Blackout alternate jersey, marking the first time since 2006 the franchise will enter the season with three uniform options. The jersey, inspired by Dallas’ skyline is a return to the team’s roots. During the first 20 years in Dallas, the Stars used black as a base color in their jersey and the team says the introduction of Skyline Green is synonymous with the city of Dallas. The State of Texas will also be used on the crest of the sweater for the first time. It’s been on the team’s pants since the 2013-14 season.
