Texas Baptist Men Are Headed Back to Louisiana Providing Hurricane Help

(WBAP/KLIF) — As Hurricane Delta made landfall Friday night, several humanitarian groups were preparing to provide relief.  John Hall with Texas Baptist Men says their group is already headed to Louisiana to help those suffering.

Many of the organization’s volunteers had just returned from assisting with Hurricane Laura before heading back out.  Delta is hammering Louisiana along a similar path as Laura did just six weeks ago.   Texas Baptist Men is prepared to serve up to 35,000 meals a day in the most adverse conditions with their mobile kitchen.

Hall says that with a pandemic still in place, they will provide drive-thru meals to observe social distancing.
