Louisville, KY (WBAP/KLIF) – A new discovery has been made in the fatal shooting of Breonna Taylor in Louisville, Kentucky.

The attorney for Breonna Taylor’s boyfriend – who shot at police when they raided her apartment, causing them to return fire and eventually kill Taylor – is disrupting the police’ version of events based on a new ballistics report.

Taylor was shot multiple times by police as they executed a warrant on her house looking for drugs … although no drugs were ever found, and the warrant was connected to someone who didn’t live there.

A grand jury did indict one of the officers… but it was because he shot into a home next to Taylor’s that had people in it.

Fox’s Bryan Llenas reported from Louisville, Kentucky with more.

Louisville was under curfew this weekend due to the recent amount of protests in the city. Taylor was shot by police as they executed a warrant at her home back in March … there have been no criminal charges related to her death.

Also, in documents and audio obtained by the news website, VICE, the sole witness of the raid on Taylor’s home had apparently changed his story.

The witness, who had been picking up  his daughter from an apartment above Taylor’s initially told police that he did not hear police announce themselves before ramming Taylor’s door in.  Documents show that in a subsequent interview about 2 months later, the witness said he heard police say, “This is the police.”
