Alamo Drafthouse to Have a Different Feel When it Opens

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) — Alamo Drafthouse is ready to reopen its doors but things will be a tad different due to the coronavirus pandemic.

To ensure safety of its customers and employees, guests will have to order food and drinks online along with their tickets.

The Austin-based company has been shut down for months but is planning to reopen half of its 41 theaters, six of which are in North Texas, over the next two weeks.

Guests will be required to wear masks when they are not eating or drinking.
