13-Year-Old Driving Car Hits Pedestrians; Killing One

GRAND PRAIRIE (WBAP/KLIF NEWS)- A 13-year old boy in Grand Prairie was driving a car when he struck multiple pedestrians, killing one of them.

Police say the boy was driving a 2008 Honda Civic without parental consent Sunday night at around 9 o’clock on the westbound frontage road off of state highway 180. He reportedly did not see two women and one man pushing strollers along the road.

52-year-old Maria Ester Hernandez Gonzalez was pronounced dead at the scene. A 30-year-old-man and a 25-year-old-woman were taken to a local hospital and two one-year-old’s were taken to a children’s medical center. The two adults and two children are expected to survive.
