(WBAP/KLIF) — The U.S. Government is at odds over a federal court decision that orders the release of immigrant parents detained with their children. Wednesday’s court decision set a deadline for children, including some infants, to be freed.
However, the trump administration argued judge dolly gee’s findings were “insufficient” to prove that it had to release all families. The families are currently being held at three detention centers in Texas and Pennsylvania.
Advocates of the court’s decision warned that not following the ruling could lead to the separation of families.
