DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF)-Texas Congressman Lance Gooden, District 5 representing northeast Dallas, has written a bill that could hold China accountable for unleashing the Coronavirus onto America.
Gooden spoke on KLIF’s Morning Show about how the ‘Stop COVID-19 Act’ will enable America to sue and seek compensation for China’s role in spreading the virus.
Gooden said it hasn’t been proven but it’s worth looking into.
“When Chinese doctors or Chinese media start saying things that are contradictory to the Chinese Communist Party’s statements, they either turn up dead or missing…I believe that the evidence will take us to a very unfortunate conclusion for the Chinese,” said Gooden.
Gooden said the Chinese Communist Party lied to the world about the severity of this deadly and costly outbreak and needs to be held accountable.
“Looking into what being held accountable will look like, I’ve heard all kinds of talk about cancelling the debt that we owe them and various other propositions,” said Gooden. “First we need to know the severity of how responsible they really are…we don’t know that now but all signs point that way,” he said.
Gooden said so far, the bill has received bi-partisan support. He said America and the rest of the world deserves the truth of how the virus originated.
