FORT WORTH (WBAP/KLIF)- Alto, a Dallas-based rideshare company is expanding in Fort Worth this week. Alto CEO Will Coleman said Alto is known for its elevated, high quality and clean services. Coleman said Alto is unlike any other rideshare because all of the vehicles are owned by the company and all drivers are W-2 employees. He said this ensures a safe, consistent and high-quality ride every time. Drivers undergo comprehensive background checks, extensive training and all rides are monitored with real-time video in every car.
Although the rideshare company’s core focus was founded on ride-hailing, Alto has pivoted to delivering essential goods amidst COVID-19 challenges. From restaurant orders to prescriptions, this is the go-to method of delivery for Dallas-Fort Worth. Coleman said a clean, reliable delivery method is more important than ever right now. Alto has cameras installed in every vehicle, real-time monitoring and text updates with each delivery. Moreover, every Alto is equipped with a HEPA filter and is cleaned using EPA-approved cleaning agents between trips.
Alto has also recently launched Market by Alto, a way to get essential, everyday products to customers quickly. The Market is a standalone specialty site, featuring produce, fresh fruit, quarantine survival kits, specialty raw meat, and snack bundles – all from local vendors – delivered to your door same-day. The Market’s curated and fresh selection focuses on getting essential products to consumers while reducing unnecessary contact and the need to leave homes for Fort Worth residents.
“Alto was founded with the mission of providing clean, safe, and consistent rides,” said Will Coleman, Founder and CEO of Alto. “Today, those same tenets are more important than ever before, not only for rides but also for deliveries. While our city, our state, and our country are under orders to stay at home, we know that Alto‘s ability to deliver everyday essentials in a clean and safe way is critical to keeping our local economy running. That’s why we’ve decided to accelerate our expansion plans and launch Alto‘s service in Fort Worth. Effective immediately, even more North Texans will have access to Alto‘s delivery service during this unprecedented time of need.”
