(WBAP/KLIF) – A nonpartisan voting advocacy group is reminding Texas voters that Friday is the deadline to apply to vote by mail in the upcoming Texas Primary.
Grace Chimene is president of the League of Women Voters of Texas.
“Voters over the age of 65, they are sick or disabled or they are out of the county,” Chimene said on those who qualify. “They can apply to vote by mail.”
The application must be turned in to the county election office by February 21st.
“If you qualify, then you will have your ballot mailed to you then you will need to turn that ballot in by Election Day,” Chimene said.
Early voting is already underway. The Texas Primary is March 3rd.
