Tarrant County GOP Precinct Chairs Needed for 2020 Elections

FORT WORTH (WBAP/KLIF)- The Tarrant County Republican Party is looking for precinct chairs for the upcoming 2020 Election.

“We have a good 660 precincts within the county that are allowed to have a precinct chair…we rely upon them to contact as many voters and get them to vote Republican,” said Tarrant County GOP Chairman Darl Easton.

You must apply and submit your application by Monday, December 9th at 6:00 p.m.

Precinct chairs are in office for two-year terms, so every precinct chair position will be up for election in the March 2020 Republican Primary. Regardless of when you became a precinct chair, you must refile if you wish to serve in the 2020-2022 biennium.

Easton said this is important to ensure Tarrant County and Texas remains red.

You must print, fill out and have the application notarized. Once notarized, you have can mail or deliver to the Tarrant GOP headquarters at 7524 Mosier View Ct., Ste 230 Fort Worth, TX 76118. They also have blank forms in the office typically have a notary present Mon- Fri 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

After the December 9th 6pm deadline, candidates CANNOT fix, cure, edit, correct, or perfect their application in any way.
