Undated (WBAP/KLIF) – The NFL has scheduled a private workout session with controversial former QB Colin Kaepernick.
The audition will be held Saturday in Atlanta and will be open to all teams in the league.
With a large number of NFL quarterbacks on the injured list, several teams have reportedly inquired about Kaepernick’s “readiness to play.”
Kaepernick hasn’t played since 2016 with the San Francisco 49ers, where he spear-headed his controversial ‘take a knee’ stance over social and racial injustice during the playing of the National Anthem.
Earlier this year owners of Nike footwear set them ablaze after the company used Kaepernick in an ad campaign.
