Fort Worth Police kill domestic violence suspect

Fort Worth (WBAP/KLIF) – The Fort Worth SWAT team shot and killed a man Saturday evening following a standoff at a southside home about where 6th Avenue meets I-20. They were called there to deal with a reported domestic disturbance, but the subject barricaded himself inside, and refused to come out. After some back and forth, he suddenly emerged carrying a weapon that appeared to be an AK47 assault rifle. The SWAT officers immediately opened fire, and he was killed. No one else was injured.
