Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – The Dallas County Republican Party has chosen a new leader.
Former Texas state representative Rodney Anderson replaces Missy Shorey following her unexpected death last month…and says the goal is to get Republicans on the same page.
“If we anticipate back ground that was lost two years ago we must have a unified message that resonates with voters here in Dallas County.”
He says the party will also aim to appeal to minority voters ahead of the 2020 election.
Anderson says that part of Shorey’s success was being able to listen to people with varying opinions and making sure the felt heard.
Thank you to all who offered to serve as @DallasGOP Chair and congratulations to @rodneyanderson for being elected. I look forward to working with you to #KeepTXRed #LeadRight
