TARRANT COUNTY (WBAP/KLIF)- A California aerospace company is relocating its headquarters to the Fort Worth area this September.

Aeromax Industries Inc., a leading manufacturer for military aircraft parts is moving it’s facility to Aledo Industrial Park off I-20 and Markum Ranch Road. Chris Strayer, The Fort Worth Chamber’s Senior Vice President for Business Attraction said this will bring economic opportunities to the area. “They’re obviously going to be bringing jobs as well as looking to grow and expand in Tarrant County and we are looking forward for them to do that in the future,” Strayer said. With more than 30 years of technical experience in advanced manufacturing, Aeromax supports various manufacturing and spares programs for international governments, overhaul facilities and trading companies worldwide. “This validates the strength of our economy not only in aviation and aerospace but manufacturing and in general, the fact that companies like this want to move to our market and feel they can be successful here,” Strayer said.

Aeromax has leased a 12,000 square foot facility in the Aledo Industrial Park.  Operations will include management, shipping and receiving, engineering, marketing and administrative.

“After looking at a few other locations, Fort Worth made perfect sense for us,” said Tom Brizes, chairman and president of Aeromax. “It’s an aerospace-friendly community with many local companies that we’ve been doing business with for years. With no state income tax and reasonable fuel and property prices, we look forward to moving and growing our operation here.”

Aeromax has a library of over 100,000 blueprints, standards, loft contours and specifications for the manufacture and engineering of parts for legacy aircrafts well after they have been retired.
