MCKINNEY – WBAP/KLIF – McKinney Police are seeking information leading to the arrest of an unidentified gunman who shot into a crowd of nearly 30 people Friday night, striking and killing a 54 year old man.
Police say just after 7 pm March 8th, dispatchers began receiving several 9-1-1 calls reporting a shooting into a crowd gathered outside of a home in the 800 block of Maples Avenue. Police say they believe an argument broke out, leading to the gunman shooting into the gathered crowd. Victim James Penegar was struck and died later at Medical City McKinney.
McKinney Police say the suspect is believed to have driven away in a silver passenger car with two other people.
