A Single Engine Plane Makes An Emergency Landing in Addison After Takeoff

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – No injuries were reported Sunday, after the pilot of a single engine plane made an emergency landing after taking off from Addison Municipal Airport. The plane left around 11:15 a.m.

According to the FAA the pilot of the Cirrus SR22 reported engine trouble, and after trying to return to the airport, declared an emergency instead, and deployed the emergency parachute.

The plane landed less than two miles from the airport.
