DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – Dallas Love Field Airport could be adding more restaurants and seating soon to help ease the long lines inside the main terminal.
Airport officials say the situation is leading to lost revenue for the city.
This woman files out of Love Field often and said the way food options are currently set up is frustrating.
“You gotta make sure that you watch your departure time because you have a lot of long lines and you have to be careful of that,” she said.
This week, a Dallas City Council Committee approved a new plan.
This frequent flyer said it’s about time the airport deal with not only the wait times to get food but also places to unwind before your flight.
“You just don’t have the time plus seating…sometimes there is no place to sit once you get your food,” she said.
