DALLAS — The man police say intentionally rammed a downtown Dallas television station with a truck earlier this month is out of jail because his case was never filed.
According to WFAA-TV, 34-year-old Michael Chadwick Fry was released because, according to the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office, they can only hold a person so long without charges being formally filed.
Before being released, Fry was facing a second degree charge of criminal mischief after the September 5th incident. He had several previous incidents with police prior to this one.
Michael Chadwick Fry is the man arrested for driving a truck into Fox4’s studios this morning. According to Denton County jail records, he has a lengthy history with law enforcement, incl. assault, public intox, marijuana, criminal mischief & more. @WBAP247NEWS @570KLIF pic.twitter.com/XflvTqR69f
