DALLAS (KLIF/WBAP) — In a scathing New York Times op-ed, there’s an interesting footnote written toward the end: the anonymous source says cabinet members have discussed using the 25th Amendment to the Constitution to remove President Trump from office.
The 25th Amendment is commonly known as the Presidential Succession Amendment. It determines who replaces the President in the event that he or she dies or becomes incapacitated while in office.
Shockingly, though many Presidents have died while in office, it wasn’t enacted until after the death of John F. Kennedy, and was ratified in 1967.
Now, the question becomes… could they use it to force his removal from office?
Robyn Geske sat down with Dave & Amy on Friday to answer that question.
