Rodent Problems Force Temporary Closure of a Denton Kroger Store

Denton, TX (WBAP/KLIF) – A Kroger store in Denton has temporarily closed because of a problem with rodents.

The Denton Record-Chronicle reports that four dead rats were found inside the Kroger on West University Drive store late Tuesday morning.

The closure coincides a viral Facebook post showing a rat in the storage area. another post purportedly shows rodent damage to bags of chips.

Kroger released a statement saying it is responding aggressively to “eradicate and prevent any further activity. we have no tolerance for pests of any kind in our stores.”
