Lewisville (WBAP/KLIF) – A 16 month old boy was beaten and stabbed to death by his father Sunday afternoon in the public courtyard of a Lewisville apartment complex. Neighbors say the man was screaming some sort of religious dogma at the top of his lungs as he attacked the child at the Oak Forest Apartments. He wouldn’t stop, even when neighbors threw trash cans and debris at him in an effort to divert his attention. In the end one of them had to shoot him. The child was dead when paramedics arrived. The victim’s father suffered a bullet wound to a leg, and is now under arrest for murder. The neighbor who shot the father will not be charged.
